American Black Film Festival Submissions Are Now Open

Submissions for the American Black Film Festival are now open.

Now in its 28th year, the American Black Film Festival is an annual event that empowers Black artists and showcases a wide range of entertainment content made by and about people of African descent. An experience like no other, the festival brings together Black culture enthusiasts, executives and content creators from around the world for five days of screenings, talk events, exclusive parties and high-powered networking.

The 28th annual ABFF will be held in Miami Beach, June 12-16, 2024, and on ABFF PLAY from June 17-24. All Official Selections will play during both the live and virtual segments of the festival. Click below for a chart outlining film eligibility and submission deadlines for each section:
